The island of Lipari
Located off the north-east coast of Sicily and the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, the Aeolian archipelago is made up of seven islands. Lipari is the biggest (37.6 square km) followed by Salina (26.8 square km), Vulcano (21 square km), Stromboli (12.6 square km), Alicudi (5.2 square km) and Panarea (3.4 square km).
